COND Launches Civic Tech Project to Empower Youth & Women in Amhara [February 13, 2026 Bahir Dar, COND]

The Consortium for Networking and Development (COND) officially launched a new civic tech project to strengthen youth and women-led CSOs’ participation in electoral processes across the Amhara region.
Funded by the Election Civic Tech Fund, the project promotes inclusive, transparent, and peaceful elections through digital training, civic tech tools, and youth & women-led observer networks, ahead of Ethiopia’s 2026 general elections.
The launch brought together CSOs, media, partners, and the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) to support technology-driven civic engagement.
