The Consortium for Networking and Development (COND), in partnership with AfricTivistes, successfully conducted a two-day immersive training workshop aimed at strengthening the digital capacity of youth- and women-led civil society organizations in the Amhara Region.
The workshop brought together 40 participants from CSOs, human rights organizations, media creators, and civic stakeholders. During the training, participants explored key topics including civic technology and electoral engagement, digital campaign design, social media advocacy, digital security, and civic tech tools for community engagement.
Participants also took part in practical group exercises, where they developed mini digital civic campaigns aimed at raising awareness and encouraging citizen participation in democratic processes. Through hands-on sessions, the training helped participants gain practical skills in using digital platforms and tools to promote civic awareness and community engagement.
